I recently posted this image of a baby Barn Swallow on my Facebook page.
She was stretching her wings, looking skyward for the next meal to arrive; getting the feel of her new wings and the wind beneath them.
And like the baby swallows and other birds who are all just beginning this new chapter in their lives, I too am starting a new chapter. A new chapter in my blog, More Images of Cape Cod.
On this July 4th I am celebrating new beginnings, and the courage to make them happen.
So here’s to looking skyward; not for some man-made fireworks that make a real bang and disappear in the night.
Here, instead, is to getting the feel of a new pair of wings.
And like that baby Barn Swallow — to seeing where they may take me next… <3
